Ingredients:
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh ginger
1/4 cup thinly sliced scallions, plus 3 tablespoons finely chopped
1 pot of chicken or pork broth
1/2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 pound ground pork
1/2 pound of shrimp (cut into bit size)
1 TB of oyster sauce
1/2 teaspoon of sugar
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional if you like spicy)
1 package of wonton wrappers, thawed if frozen
3 stalks of scallion and some cilantro
1/2 cup sliced shiitake mushroom caps
1/4 cup water chestnut (This will give you the crunch once you bite into the wonton.)
green lettuce or bok choy (optional)

Method:
BROTH
1. Boil one pot of water with pork neckbone or chicken leg.
2. Add one medium onion and a few slices of turnips to give the sweetness to the broth.
3. Add dried shrimps.
4. Add a few slices of ginger.
5. Add 1/2 tsp of sesame oil.
6. Add a few rock sugar.

Wonton filling
1. In a bowl, add the ground pork seasoned with scallions, sesame oil, oyster sauce, salt and pepper, constarch, sesame oil, pepper and sugar.
2. Add chopped shrimps and crunchy bits of water chestnut may be folded in.
3. Wrap the pork and shrimp filling into the wonton skin.

Preparation:
1. Boil the wonton in a separate pot of water so they won't cloud the soup.
2. Drain and fish them out into serving bowl.
3. Add the wonton soup in.
4. If you like veggies, add the bok choy in or some lettuce.
5. Garnish with some chopped scallions or cilantro.
