Ingredients
4 cups Home Brand self raising flour
2 tbs Home Brand butter
1 pinch Home Brand salt
2 tbs Home Brand sugar
1 1/2 cups Home Brand milk
Method
1. Preheat oven to 210°c
2. Sift flour, sugar & salt into a large mixing bowl
3. Rub in butter using your fingertips
4. Pour in milk and stir lightly to create a stiff dough
5. Turn onto floured bench top and knead lightly to create a smooth dough. Roll out to a 2cm thickness & cut into rounds using a 7cm scone cutter
6. Place onto floured baking tray. Brush with a little milk
7. Bake for approx 15minutes until golden on top

Serve hot with your choice of toppings
